मांडवी तालुक के बाघ गांव की 55 वर्षीय दमयंतीबेन मोता वार्षिक 16 लाख कमाकर अन्य महिलाओं के लिए प्रेरणा स्रोत बनीं!
प्रधानमंत्री और राज्य सरकार महिलाओं को सशक्त बनाने और पूरे देश को सशक्त बनाने की दिशा में काम कर रही है। इस सशक्तिकरण का एक उदाहरण हैं कच्छ के मांडवी तालुक के बाघ गांव की दमयंतीबेन मोता। जिन्होंने सरकार के प्रोत्साहन और आर्थिक मदद से पशुपालन व्यवसाय को नई ऊंचाई पर पहुंचाया है। अपनी मेहनत और लगन से उन्होंने प्रतिदिन ₹4500 और प्रति वर्ष ₹16 लाख की आय अर्जित की है और अपने परिवार का पालन-पोषण करने के साथ-साथ सभी महिलाओं के लिए प्रेरणा बन गई हैं।
दमयंती बहन की कहानी:
20 साल पहले दमयंतीबेन मोता के पति की मौत हो गई और उन्हें मुश्किलों का सामना करना पड़ा. 4 बच्चे और घर की जिम्मेदारी उनके सिर पर आ गई. ऐसे में उन्होंने हिम्मत न हारते हुए बच्चों का पेट भरने के लिए एक गाय और एक भैंस पाल लीं. जिसके दूध की बिक्री से वे अपनी जीविका चलाते थे, 2005 में उन्होंने 3 गायें और एक भैंस और जोड़ लीं। वह अपना दूध बेचने के लिए बाजार में ठेलों पर दूध देता था लेकिन उसे पर्याप्त कीमत नहीं मिलती थी।
सहकारी क्षेत्रों की ग्राम्य; विकास में भूमिका:
धीरे-धीरे, कच्छ में डेयरी में सहकारी क्षेत्र के विकास के साथ और जैसे-जैसे किसानों को अच्छी कीमत मिल रही है, वे पशुओं की संख्या बढ़ा रहे हैं और डेयरी में दूध देना शुरू कर रहे हैं।
दमयंतीबेन कहती हैं कि:
"मैंने पढ़ाई पूरी की है और दूध की कमाई से अपने चार बच्चों की शादी की है. विभिन्न सरकारी योजनाओं के माध्यम से मैं अपने व्यवसाय को शून्य से विशाल स्तर तक बढ़ाने में सक्षम हुआ। अब मैं और मेरे घर की महिलाएं इस व्यवसाय से जुड़कर अपनी जड़ें जमा चुकी हैं। सरकार जिस तरह से महिलाओं को विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में पैर जमाने में मदद कर रही है, उससे मेरे जैसी कई महिलाओं का जीवन आसान और सम्मानजनक हो गया है। इसके लिए मैं प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेन्द्रभाई मोदी और मुख्यमंत्री श्री भूपेन्द्रभाई पटेल का आभार व्यक्त करती हूं।"

Damayantiben's story:
Damyantiben Mota's husband died 20 years ago, and she had to face difficulties. The responsibility of 4 children and the house fell upon him. In such difficult circumstances, she operated husbandry with a cow and a buffalo to earn for her children. She used to earn his livelihood by selling Milk. In 2005, she added three cows and a buffalo. She used to sell Milk on carts in the market but did not get an adequate price.
Role of cooperative sectors in rural development:
Gradually, with the development of the cooperative sector in dairy in Kutch and as the farmers are getting fair prices, they are increasing the number of animals and starting to give Milk in the dairy.
Damayantiben says:
"I have completed my studies and have married my four children by selling Milk. Along with various government schemes, I grow my business from zero to high levels. My family and I have established our roots in this business by joining it. The way the government is helping women in various fields, the lives of many women like me have become easy and respectable.
